Be Prepared for the June 7 Primary Election

Next Tuesday, June 7, Californians will head to the polls to cast votes in the presidential primary election. In addition to that high-profile race, however, many other candidates are vying for state and local offices, and numerous ballot measures will be called to question. There’s a lot for voters to deal with, and across the Bay Area, much variety among ballots.

To help manage all this information, a valuable tool is Voter’s Edge, a collaborative project of the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund and MapLight. To use this online resource, simply enter your address in the box below and click the “Go” button; a new Internet browser tab will open with details about the candidates and measures on your personal ballot, as well as the location of your personal polling place:

In addition to Voter’s Edge, Bay Area residents can also learn more by consulting the websites for their county elections offices and registrars of voters:

Alameda

Santa Clara

San Mateo

San Francisco

Marin

Sonoma

Napa

Solano

Contra Costa

Finally, more voter resources may be found at the website for the California Secretary of State.

Good luck next Tuesday!
