Open Space Council Conference to Focus on Conservation

On Thursday, May 14, the Bay Area Open Space Council will host its annual conference from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond. This year’s event will highlight “experiments, attempts, and lessons learned across the broad field of land conservation.” An expected 500 attendees representing conservation, parks and recreation, resource management, healthcare, business, and policy will come together to discuss community engagement, funding, stewardship, and more.
